20 years of “It’s July”

With her debut single “Perfekte Welle”, released in 2004, Juli entered the German single charts and a little later received her first gold record. A remarkable initial success, which the formation followed up with more than 1.5 million units of their gold and platinum-certified albums sold - and currently delights almost a million monthly Spotify listeners. Although almost two decades have passed since the release of their first single, July songs can still be recognized immediately from the first notes played: what remains is the euphoric bittersweetness, the familiar nostalgic infatuation and the inexhaustible energy, with singer Eva Briegel , the guitarists Simon Triebel and Jonas Pfetzing, bassist Andreas Herde and drummer Marcel Römer captivate their audience.

The band's fifth album was released in 2023 and received a lot of love, great reviews and space in the country's features section. It had been 9 years since the band released an album and toured. You couldn't really tell what to expect, but the reaction from the fans was euphoric and the “July feeling” was to hit the country again.

At the Burg Open Air, the band brings big hits like "And if a song", "The world hasn't seen that yet" or "Go from it" to the stage at a best of show - but also new hits like "Main Prize" or “Mut” from the groundbreaking new album KOMPASS.
